The convoys depart from the “Hayat Karima” villages in Burj Al Arab. The dates and locations of the medical convoys are:
* Burj Al Arab villages on November 4th
* Nag al-Arab on November 29
*Village 5 Burj Al Arab on November 30th
*Amriya Medical District on November 5
*King Mariout area on November 6
* Yemen village on November 7
The total health services provided within the framework of the national campaign for 100 health days in Alexandria reached about 1,13,903 citizens. Preventive services include “vaccinations, environmental and food health services,” public health initiatives, treatment convoys, family planning services, health culture, and population education media.
Presidential Public Health Initiatives services were also provided to 246,196 citizens, and 71,332 citizens benefited from the early detection service for cancerous tumors (colon, lung, prostate, and cervix).
The total number of visitors to the treatment convoys reached 50,986 citizens, the total number of beneficiaries of family planning services was 85,595 women, and the number of recipients of awareness through the health education teams reached 127,967 citizens, in addition to 42,883 through the media and population education seminar teams.
During the campaign, vaccination services were provided to 217,114 children, 2,191 food facilities were visited, and 2,792 food and beverage samples were taken for analysis in the Ministry’s laboratories.
