DUBAI> Parking will be free in most public spaces in Dubai on Friday, September 29, a public holiday to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. All paid zones except multi-level terminals will not charge parking fee on Friday. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced that its service provider centers will be closed on Friday and will resume operations on Saturday. Customer Happiness Centers will also be closed on Friday, but Smart Customer Happiness Centers at Umm Ramul, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kafaf and RTA Head Office will be open 24 hours a day. Public transport timings in Dubai will also be adjusted during the upcoming holidays, with Dubai Metro services on the red and green lines operating from 5am to 1am and the public bus network operating from 5am to 12pm.
