(Archyde.com) – French household consumption expenditure on goods fell by 0.5% in August, after an increase of 0.4% (revised) in July, according to data published on Friday by INSEE.
Household consumption expenditure is decreasing for the three main types of goods: manufactured goods (-0.5%), food (-0.5%) and energy (-0.6%), says l ‘Insee.
Economists polled by Archyde.com had on average expected a drop of 0.5% last month.
