In March 2023, Tessa Worley announced her retirement, and now there is good news from the private life of the two-time giant slalom world champion. As the 34-year-old French woman reveals on social media, she and Julien Lizeroux (44) have become parents.
And apparently that was a few days ago. According to the French portal “Ski Chrono”, the two former ski aces are happy about a boy named Tommy.
Austrians among well-wishers
The Austrians Ramona Siebenhofer and Eva-Maria Brem were among the first to congratulate the Instagram post.
In November, Worley and Lizeroux made their impending baby joy public. The French ski dream couple is likely to instill in their offspring their love of winter sports. Lizeroux, who ended his career in 2021, competed in 172 World Cup races and celebrated three victories. Worley jumped out of the starting box 255 times and was able to celebrate victory 16 times. The two won nine medals together at world championships.
