After the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Gémina Joseph should relive the adventure this summer at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. At home and in front of an audience committed to her cause, the Frenchwoman dominated the 100m and 200m during the Guyana Games, Saturday April 13, in Remire-Montjoly.
Top 10 French performances
The 22-year-old young woman took the opportunity to beat her records at each distance by winning in 11”04 (+1.1 m/s) in the 100 m, thus exploding her old record (11”35 , with normal wind conditions).

Over 200 m, the Tricolore won in 22”57, achieving exactly the minimum time for Paris 2024. The two times achieved on Saturday allow it to enter the top 10 of the best performances in history (6th on the 100 m; 8th in the 200 m).
