“Fridays of the Halle”: The show continues! Release Thursday, August 4, 2021 please thank you

Don’t miss this new August season of Fridays in the hall 2022 which looks promising!

This next meeting was the subject at short notice of a replacement of the planned star, the artist Da Silva, for “family reasons”, by the national artist Benoît Doremus.

This is defined as follows:

“Theories of the mind and balancing songs, the ghost Benoît Dorémus thanks us as follows: “Thank you! Thank you so much for understanding what it’s like to be an artist in 2021!”

It is with these words from July 2021 that Benoît closes the crowdfunding of his 5th album, “Sorry for the ghosts”, greeting his fans on the web. It is in this way, as with each of his records, that he recapitulates his life as an acrobat on the first title of this new chapter of his biography… “On believes en moi”. It is through this pensive aggressive ego trip that the consenting adult singer sets the tone for this new album, his assured flow on electro beats and discreet guitars.

Because yes, we believe in him. He’s been there for 15 years already, tightrope walker of French song, a little more each time, independent and open. On the wire, Benoît Dorémus finds his balance, leans sometimes towards the feminine, tender portraits of women, then towards the masculine, the subtle, he turns 360° towards the schoolboy, slides, agile, as in the clip of this 1st piece, on his rollerblades.

In the single “Sorry for the ghosts” in duet with Clio, he is the fragile lover who does not know how to put away his suitcases. A cracking ballerina’s knee, “The Wounded Dancer”, and the poet falls in love. He swings, flexible and determined to surprise us with all the facets of his 41 years…

Somewhere between the earth and the sky, the singer acclaimed from space by astronaut Thomas Pesquet (the title “Rien à te mise” tweeted live from the stars) reminds us that we are complex beings who live in several dimensions , that you can’t fight ghosts, but you can let them rest in peace”.

Don’t miss “French Song”. Free.
