Problems are common in life. If you think about it and feel sad, nothing special will happen. Instead, you need a mind to find solutions. Parents should train their children specially for this. Because it is not those who get overwhelmed by problems, but those who show a positive attitude and the ability to find solutions in the face of crisis, who succeed in life. Perhaps the solution to our problem will be of help to many. Louis Braille is a good example. Born in France in January 1809, Louis is the creator of the Braille script that can be read by the visually impaired. Louis began developing this script in his teens. Through it, it was possible to fill the lives of millions of people with light.

Lewis lost his sight in an accident at the age of three. It happened in my father’s leather factory. Lewis’s attempt to make a hole in the leather using a sharp wire resulted in an accident. The wire went into the right eye. The parents rushed there after hearing their son’s cry. They provided possible treatment but it didn’t work. The pus in the right eye later affected the left eye. Soon the vision in both eyes was lost. Louis became completely blind at the age of 5. Parents tried to give their son a good education despite his eyesight.

Louis studied at the Royal Institute for Blind Youth in Paris. Little Louis had the ability to memorize everything he heard. However, he could not adapt to the educational methods prevailing at that time. He recognized that there are many limitations to the acquisition of knowledge by the visually impaired. Louis wanted to be able to read and write books. But what to do?

Charles Barbier, a French military officer at that time, visited Louis’ school and shared his experiences. It was from him that Lewis learned about the script that soldiers on the battlefield could grope and read in the dark. Aware of this, Lewis recognized the possibilities before him. That is what paved the way for the formation of Braille. Braille has changed the lives of many people as it was designed so that the visually impaired can understand it by touch. Braille is still famous all over the world. Lewis, who also worked as a teacher, left the world at the age of 43. Although he lived for a short time, that life caused great changes.

If Louis had thought that he had no vision and no meaning to life, nothing would have happened. But Louis Braille tried to address the problem at hand and use his skills to solve it. Today there are many books available printed in Braille. Visually impaired people use this script for education and literary writing. The great man Louis Braille was responsible for the transfer and development of so much knowledge.

We shouldn’t waste our lives worrying about what we don’t have. Effectively using the blessings received. It is the duty of parents and teachers to enable the next generation.
