On Wednesday, the Riigikogu adopted amendments to the Income Tax Act, according to which tax-free income is increased from 500 euros to 654 euros per month.
This measure will increase the actual income of those who earn less than 1,200 euros per month by 370 euros per year.
As a reminder, from January 1, the average old-age pension will not be subject to income tax. According to the forecast, in 2023 the average pension will be 704 euros.
