“This extends the experience at the airport, where the mask has not been mandatory for some time, to the plane itself. The plane has always been a place where the risk of infection is very low, thanks to advanced air filtering systems”, explains Brussels Airlines, adding that the end of the obligation to wear a mask on board its planes makes it possible to take “a step closer to a ‘normal’ travel experience after the pandemic. .”
Brussels Airlines recalls, however, that in some foreign airports, the mask is still compulsory. Customers are therefore advised to check the rules in force in the country of destination before travelling.
