For days now, Italians have been dealing with the radical collapse in temperatures and, therefore, with the return, if not of the cold, of the fresh air. April had given us hope: in the first period of the month, in fact, the mild climate seemed to correspond to the welcome of real spring and, why not, a taste of summer. But, in reality, this was not the case. So when will the heat return? This is the question many are asking. For now the area most affected by the bad weather is the “North-West, in particular Piedmont and Lombardy”, regions affected by a “frosty core”. What weather awaits us? “Until Wednesday 24th decidedly cold weather throughout Italy, due to a freezing core which will continue to affect the weather until that date”, he stated in an article published on meteogiulicci.it. Curiosity is strong for the day of April 25th. “Many clouds and a slightly recovering climate, but always cool, especially during the day. Rather extensive cloud cover and a gray climate, but rather low rainfall, due to the absence of lows on the ground and weakly south-westerly currents”, explains the famous physicist of atmosphere. Change of route between Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th, “when Italy could be affected by intense southern currents”. The scenario, according to the expert, could be that of Italy “at two speeds”: cold in the North and hot in the South.
