HALO will serve as the exclusive lending channel for GAT and TC, with a focus on on secured direct loans for airlines, lessors and investors covering the full spectrum of collateral from new to legacy aircraft.HALO will be uniquely positioned by combining the respective structuring and financing expertise as well as the assets and technical capabilities of GAT and TC. HALO will fill a need in an underserved market that lacks a global, independent and savvy lender.
HALO is launching its first fund, HALO One, in partnership with InterVest Capital Partners (formerly known as Wafra Capital Partners), an experienced investor in both the aviation and specialty finance sectors. “GA Telesis has been our long-standing partner in aviation investments for over a decade, and the HALO lending strategy is a natural and meaningful progression of our combined capabilities,” said Michael Gontar, Managing Director of InterVest Capital Partners.
HALO One will benefit from an innovative revolving credit facility led by Citigroup as Structuring Agent and Co-lead Arranger and Fifth Third Bank, National Association, as Co-lead Arranger.
