The update brings firmware numbering A315GDXS2DWD1, and there is a fix for about 60 security holes found in Android.

Galaxy A31 gets update with January security patch
Samsung started to distribute the January 2023 security patch for Galaxy A31. The news was released this Friday, and the update is available in India, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Uzbekistan.
According to those who already had access to the update, the SM-A315F model receives firmware version A315FXXS2DWA2 and the SM-A315G variant of the phone is receiving the update with firmware version A315GZHS2DWA2.
In both cases, the devices get the fix for about 50 security holes found in Android 12, in addition to adjustments for flaws in Samsung’s own interface.
