Game Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL will be closed in September

Just over six months following release, the game Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL will be closed by Konami, according to a post on the company’s website. The game’s main highlight was cross duels, in addition to being made especially for mobile devices, eliminating limitations of other games in the franchise.

The game will end on the day September 4thbut sales of Crystals have already been suspended today. The company, however, will refund those who have unused Crystals; requests will be accepted until 9/5, with the recommendation to note the Duelist ID, game currency balance and not delete the game before the refund is completed.

Before the closure, however, there will be campaigns to “express gratitude” to players. On 4/5 there will be a New Single Player Event and cards from “Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS”, while on 4/12 we will have a New Raid Event.

In addition, rewards such as login bonuses will also be increased so that players can enjoy the game until its definitive closure in September. New information will be released on the official website, as well as on the application itself.
