Gault Millau chose the best Styrian pumpkin seed oil of the year – Food & Drink

It is considered the black gold of Styria and is one of the first products to be awarded EU protection of origin. Now, for the 18th time, the gourmet guide Gault Millau has spooned its way through a selection of pumpkin seed oil – and tested it for colour, mouthfeel, freshness and the specific roasted note. Oil from the Schelch family from Dobl took first place this year, second and third place went to the Kiendler oil mill from Ragnitz and Estyria natural products from St. Ruprecht an der Raab.
