Microsoft has said it plans to hold its traditional Xbox summer showcase in June, when it is expected to offer new insights into upcoming releases such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed, Ara: History Untold and Towerborne offer. It was recently claimed that the event is scheduled for June 9 and that Microsoft is preparing to announce new ones. Gears of War– and Duty calls– Announce games on the show. In a Twitter post, JD Fenix actor Liam McIntyre also seemed to hint that we’ll be hearing regarding the sequel to Xbox Scathowle Gear 5 will hear.
In response to a question from another user, McIntyre said: “I have no idea. I think @GearsofWar will tell us all in June. :)” According to Microsoft had Gears of War sold over 22 million units and grossed over $1 billion when the company acquired the franchise from Epic Games in 2014. Since purchasing the IP, Xbox has released two main series entries in the form of Gears of War 4 from 2016 onwards Gear 5 released in 2019, both developed by The Coalition, as well Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and the turn-based tactics spin-off Gear’s tactics.
