Genshin Impact 4.0 Officially Gains 4-Star Characters and Weapons

Genshin Impact’s 4.0 update 4.0 characters and weapons have been officially revealed by HoYoverse, the studio behind the game’s development. According to the developer, all those mentioned on the list will be made available in the first phase of Genshin Impact 4.0. It is important to mention that the limited banner of the Wanderer and Sangonomiya Kokomi will be available until August 15th.

During the Genshin Impact 4.0 update live streaming, HoYoverse confirmed the release of two new 5-star characters for the first part of Genshin Impact 4.0, which will be Lyney and Yelan. Now, the game’s official profile has revealed on Twitter which are the four-star characters and weapons that will debut on the banners of the first phase.

According to the publication made by the official profile of Genshin Impact on Twitter, players will have the opportunity to acquire the following characters in the first phase of update 4.0:

Lyney – 5-star character Pyro bow wielder Yelan – 5-star character Hydro wielder of bow Barbara – 4-star character Hydro wielder of Catalyst Lynette – 4-star character Anemo sword wielder Bennett – 4-star character Pyro sword wielder

Considering the general opinion of the players, HoYoverse’s selection of 4-star characters is okay. Lynette is the new 4-star character on the list, joining Bennet, considered one of the strongest 4-star characters in Genshin Impact. Bennet’s great power is due to his Ultimate, the Fantastic Voyage, which provides a powerful heal to strengthen the entire team.

Barbara is the weakest of the four-star character selection. Most players say they have already reached the character’s maximum constellation levels.

As for Lyney, the new 5 star character, he will play the main DPS role. For battle, Lyney uses her special Charged Attack, similar to Tighnari and Ganyu. Yelan, the second 5 star character, is part of one of the most successful characters in terms of revenue generated.

The two 5 star characters use bow as their signature weapon. While Lyney has The First Great Magic, Yelan has Aqua Simulacra. First Great Magic increases the damage of the charged attack, in addition to having Crit Damage as a secondary stat.
