Genshin Impact can release six banners per update

Future Genshin Impact updates, after version 4, may have three banner phases instead of two, as is currently done. The information emerged through leaks, but it is not yet known which patch of the popular HoYoverse RPG will apply the new character and weapon release system.

Today HoYoverse uses a two-phase banner release system for each Genshin Impact update. If the leaks are confirmed, players will be able to receive 6 characters per version of the game. One of them says that this new format can be adopted before Genshin Impact 4.3.

There was a leak on Genshin Impact that says about HoYoverse implementing a three-phase banner system in one of the 4.X patches (“X” because it’s not known exactly which version this will occur in). Unfortunately nothing more was said about the novelty.

Currently, each Genshin Impact update has two times and lasts for 21 days each. If one more phase is added, each banner would last 14 days.

In the translation of the leak below, the following is said about the banner system changes with each update:

  • Three phases for banners will be implemented in Fontaine (new region)
  • This should happen before Genshin Impact 4.3
  • The Hitchhiker’s Summoning Expansion Rumor Is Accurate

Developed by HoYoverse studio, Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2020 for PC, PS4, Android and iOS. On April 28, 2021, Genshin Impact won a PS5 version. Unfortunately, although on January 13, 2020 the title was announced for Nintendo Switch, it has not won a release date until today and remains in development according to the GoNintendo website.

Genshin Impact is a free open-world action RPG game, where the player chooses one of the “Travelers” characters to unravel the mysteries of Teyvat, a world created for the game.
