Mercedes F1’s George Russell has started work on the 2023 season. He did a seat fitting for the W14 at the factory.
George Russell’s first year at the Mercedes F1 team proved to be a difficult season. From the beginning of the season, I sacrificed resources and races to investigate the cause of W13’s porpashing/bouncing.
But once they started to understand the problem, Mercedes F1 gradually improved its performance.
George Russell achieved his 19th top 5 finish in 22 races, his first F1 pole position at the 13th round F1 Hungarian GP, and his first F1 victory at the 21st round Brazilian GP, and finally teammate Lewis. – Finished the season in 4th place, 35 points behind Hamilton, two places higher.
Before entering the winter vacation, George Russell visited the factory of the Mercedes F1 team and carried out seat matching of the 2023 F1 machine “W14”.
“I’m here at the factory to check the seat for the 2023 car, so we can make it as snug and tight as possible,” said George Russell.
