George Soros: Newspaper Revealed – Is He Behind Student Protests Against Israel? 2024-05-02 01:32:26

Three of the most prominent figures in the pro-Palestine camps at US universities are fellows of the Soros-funded Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), the New York Post reports.

USCPR’s “community-based” fellows are paid up to $7,800 for their work, while “campus-based” fellows receive between $2,880 and $3,660 for eight hours a week organizing “campaigns led by Palestinian organizations.”

The organization instructs its colleagues to “rise up” and spark “revolution”, while specifically telling them to reject “reform”.

He has received at least $300,000 from Soros’s Open Society Foundations since 2017.

The protests first erupted with the occupation of Columbia University’s Morningside campus and quickly spread to other campuses including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia.

Additionally, the New York Post reports that Soros’ funding, along with that of his followers, is instrumental in the protests in Columbia. Specific groups listed as camped at the university include Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Within Our Lifetime.

An analysis by The Post claims that all three groups have received funding from Soros-linked entities, with the Rockefeller Brothers Fund also providing support to JVP.

At Berkeley, Berkeley Law Students for Justice in Palestine co-president Malak Afaneh is a familiar face at pro-Palestine protests and has spoken at the campus protest this week.

So far, more than 100 protesters have been arrested in the “Gaza Solidarity Expedition,” which is made up of a coalition of 116 groups under the umbrella of the Columbia University Apartheid Divest organization.

Several of the coalition’s groups have received support from left-wing donors, including a group under investigation for allegedly raising money for terrorist organizations.
