Georgia Hall wins in Saudi Arabia

Georgia Hall won with a five-stroke lead (-9 in total) in Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the 3rd edition of the Saudi Ladies International which took place at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club of King Abdullah Economic City, second tournament of the season of the Ladies European Tour (LET). The Englishwoman, who will celebrate her 26th birthday in April, now has two victories on the European Women’s Tour.

Sweden’s Johanna Gustavsson and Czech Kristyna Napoleaova tied for second at six under par on aggregate.

American Kelly Whaley birdied eight successive times in the final round of this tournament, breaking the Ladies European Tour regular season record. “It’s the best trick I’ve ever done in a tournament, Whaley said. My goal today was just to enjoy it and have fun.” Whaley moved up the standings with that course record (63), finishing tied for sixth (-3).

On the French side, Céline Herbin ranks 30th.
