The Dar es Salaam area in Cairo witnessed a tragic incident, in which a housewife was killed and her husband was injured in first-degree burns, as a result of a woman, her husband and her son assaulting them with flammable materials with gasoline, “when they were inside their workplace due to a previous dispute between them.

The Dar Al-Salaam Police Department in Cairo reported that 3 people had set fire to a woman and her husband in an oven in one of the streets of the department.

A security force headed by the head of the department’s investigations and a team of criminal investigations, moved to the location of the incident in question, and upon examination, it was found that the couple had first-degree burns, after which they were transferred to a hospital, and the wife died after her struggle in the care room.

The investigations of the department’s detectives showed that the family of the victims and the accused, a quarrel broke out between them earlier in the day when the second party attacked the first with a white weapon that injured the victim’s son with a cut in the face.

Investigations indicated that the victims did not give up the case until the court issued a decision in absentia to imprison the defendants at age. The second party tried to request reconciliation, but the victim’s family refused: “Every day they send people and threaten to kill,” the victim’s son says.

Investigations added that the defendants planned to commit the crime and neglected the two victims by pouring flammable substance “gasoline” and setting fire inside the oven, and assaulted the husband, causing a cut in the artery: “My father followed my two little sisters and his hand was cut from the blow of the tooth.”

The policemen of the department were able to arrest them, and by confronting them, they confessed that they had committed the incident, while the opposition judge in the Prosecution of Dar al-Salaam renewed their detention for 15 days, pending investigations.
