Georgian Men Arrested for Thefts at Colruyt Stores in Belgium: Latest Updates and Details

On Friday, three men of Georgian origin were arrested in a Colruyt store located in the Beyne-Fléron-Soumagne police zone. They were recognized thanks to video surveillance images. Indeed, the individuals are suspected of having committed thefts of alcohol bottles from several Colruyt stores in the country, notably in Liège and Arlon. They allegedly committed thefts on November 3, 4 and 9.

A search was therefore carried out at the home of one of the suspects. There, the police arrested a fourth person.

The four suspects, who were born in 2003, 1966, 1965 and 1972, were referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office on Saturday. Their case was placed under investigation and a request for an arrest warrant was made once morest them.
