For the occasion, several heads of state from German-speaking countries will be present in our country. Crown Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal President of the Republic of Austria and Alain Berset, President of the Swiss Confederation will thus respond to the invitation of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
The first day of the summit will begin at Château de Laeken with a working meeting on the theme of space, in the presence of astronauts Alexander Gerst, Carmen Possnig, Matthias Maurer and Samantha Cristoforetti. The day will end with a concert by the Young Belgian Strings and a dinner still within the castle grounds.
The next day, the heads of state will travel to the German-speaking Community where they will visit the company Kabelwerk Eupen AG, a family business specializing in the production of high-quality cables, plastic tubes and polyurethane foams. Their wives will visit the Conserverie et Moutarderie Belge SA in Raeren at the same time.

The informal summit will close with a working meeting on the circular economy.
