Germany beat Spain to advance to quarter-finals

Germany have won a second victory in as many matches in Group B of the Euro Ladies. In Brentford, they dominated Spain 2-0 and thus ensured their qualification for the quarter-finals

The Germans showed great realism: they scored through Bühl (3rd) and Popp (37th) on their first two shots on target. Opposite, the Spaniards made the majority of the game, but they lacked percussion and precision in the zone of truth once morest a very attentive German defense.

Denmark for their part beat Finland 1-0 in Milton Keynes, following having been held in check for a long time. This success revives the finalists of the last edition. Corrected by Germany (4-0) for their entry into the running, the Danes scored their first three points in Group B thanks to a late header from their captain Pernille Harder (72nd).

Already beaten at the opening by Spain (4-1), the Finns are already eliminated from the race for the quarter-finals.
