The level of gas reserves in Germany has recently fallen to a “worrying” level. This is what a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Economy and Climate said, while stocks are under particular scrutiny in the context of tensions with Russia.
“We are monitoring the storage levels situation and it is certainly worrying,” the spokeswoman told a government news conference. She noted that stocks have fallen to 35-36%, down from 40% a short time ago and 82% in 2020.
