Ghost Recon Breakpoint received a lot of criticism regarding the additional content that was planned for the present and the future of video games with the Quartz system (NFT), however, it welcomed a large amount of players on its servers by presenting a lot of content additional to the story to do online.
Ubisoft Paris, the game’s developer, said on Twitter that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will no longer receive content.

After two years and 6 months of updates, fixes, DLCs and NFTs, Ubisoft has confirmed that the video game will no longer receive post-launch support, according to their terms:
Over the past two years, we’ve released over 11 updates and promoted a number of unique initiatives.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint has had a rather criticized life, be it because of NFT, bugs or performance issues, but it is very remarkable to see the post-production work of the developers, in this case Ubisoft Paris, which , through a series of updates, have given it more life and improved the quality of their product. This is important because it shows that the case of No Man’s Sky has been carried on in a positive way in the industry.
Finally, the company highlighted its latest content, Operation Motherland, and the addition of “tons of new items,” including 20th Anniversary sets. They also invite players to continue enjoying the cooperative mode of the game by mentioning that the Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Ghost Recon Wildlands servers will remain active and constantly maintained.
Should we expect a new episode? It’s very likely that this change is due to them working on a new Ghost Recon or Tom Clancy project. However, no information has been confirmed or mentioned directly by the developers of Breakpoint, so for now we can expect to see this mythical saga again.
