In the images from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, an international collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency ESA, a tiny cube-shaped object appears in the lower right corner of the Sun for about two seconds. Shortly thereafter, the image darkens and an aberration covers the apparent object, such as the «Daily Star» reported.

The cube-shaped object was also shown at the same time on another website that regularly publishes new images of the sun’s surface. Bernhard Fleck, project scientist and mission leader from Soho, stated in an interview with “Vice” that the black cube on the sun, which was also visible in other images, is not a spacecraft. To believe something like that is “complete nonsense”: the square is simply the result of missing transmission data, “a damaged telemetry block”, as he puts it.
