Federal Reserve officials hinted at the possibility of starting to raise the US interest rate next March, with the inflation rate rising to its highest level in 40 years.
This means, that gold prices may benefit from this information and expectations, which paves the way for successive increases in the price of an ounce of the yellow metal.
