GoldenEye 007 in Xbox Game Pass, but not online on Xbox | XboxOne

After many rumors and color noises, GoldenEye 007 is indeed back and will even be available on Xbox. Unfortunately, only the Switch version of the game will have an online mode.

The return of a classic

The announcement therefore took place during the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, September 13 with a very short video, but which is already making your mouth water! Originally released in 1997 exclusively on Nintendo 64, this great video game classic will soon be entitled to a remastered version.

As clarified by Rare, the studio behind this revisit, Golden Eye 007 will integrate the Game Pass upon release and has been faithfully recreated for Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch. Players will thus be able to benefit from a 4K resolution, a higher frame rate, enhanced graphics and the integration of achievements on Microsoft machines.

Similarly, it will be possible to play local multiplayer and split screen to the delight of fans of the game! An online mode will also be included but unfortunately, this feature will be reserved for Nintendo Switch owners. Finally, note that any owner of the Rare Replay compilation will be able to download the game for free.
