Golfer Straka ends shootout in Florida in eighth place

Golf pro Sepp Straka completed his first appearance at the QBE Shootout in Naples (Florida) alongside Brian Harman in eighth place among the twelve teams of two. The Austrian and the American played a round of 62 in fourball format on Sunday, the duo improved by three places with a total of 25 under par. Both of them raked in around $100,000 each. Victory went to Sahith Theegala and Tom Hoge (both USA).

For Straka, it is also the annual financial statement. The 29-year-old tees off for the first time following the turn of the year at the $15 million Tournament of Champions in Hawaii (from January 5).
