Good deal – The Amazfit T-Rex Pro connected watch at €79.98 (-38%)

With the Amazfit T-Rex Pro, Huami is marketing a shock-resistant connected watch designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts, all at an attractive price. Does the formula work? Answer right here!

With its beautiful Oled screen, solid autonomy and its complete app, the T-Rex Pro has many arguments to make. Unfortunately, the heart rate monitor, unable to follow when faced with an intense sports outing, makes it less relevant than a Huawei Watch GT2to the equally frustrating OS, but more relevant in sports monitoring.

Points forts

  • Nice Oled screen.
  • Big autonomy.
  • Full app.
  • Precise GPS.
  • Waterproof and shock resistant.

Weak points

  • Limited heart rate tracking.
  • Interface frustrante.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

An alternative

The Xiaomi Mi Watch is a good connected watch, suitable for moderate sports practice thanks to its integrated GPS. It benefits from a circular format, but is in fact more imposing than the Lite version previously tested. This format gives it the advantage of giving the illusion of a “real” watch, although its plastic design quickly reminds it of its status as a tech product without any real charm. Its minimalist interface is practical to handle on a daily basis. It is helped by the two physical buttons and a comfortable AMOLED screen. Finally, its autonomy of a fortnight is clearly its best asset.
