The king is finally back. After a lackluster 2022 edition, Samsung seems to have finally found the right formula to regain its throne. Complete on all points, the Galaxy S23 Ultra promises to be the essential smartphone for the start of the year.
Samsung’s previous Galaxy Ultra had convinced us, but not fully. It is quite different for the 2023 vintage which finally reaches the top of the range perfectly complete and pleasant in all situations. We can obviously blame this Galaxy 23 Ultra for a photo part that is oddly quite set back on certain points, but nothing that cannot be corrected by a subsequent update. As it stands, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can once again claim its place as the king of premium.

An alternative
The Galaxy S23+ is, like the Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra, a successful smartphone. It is equipped with a mastered screen, a powerful chip and a complete photo component, despite some imperfections. Added to this is a solid autonomy and a charge that could certainly have been faster, but which is sufficient for everyday use. In short, Samsung delivers to lovers of large mobiles a high-performance and complete smartphone, of which we appreciate both the small refinements (its IP68 certification, for example) and the compatibility with four years of software updates.
