Kuwait City | Issuance of dependent visas and family visitor visas in Kuwait will resume soon. A local newspaper reported quoting ministry sources that the Ministry of Home Affairs will issue a notification in this regard in the coming days. In the first phase, the visa will be granted to the wife and children.
Visas will also resume for step parents and next of kin. Officials also clarified that this will be according to the conditions and standards set by the ministry. At the same time, the Acting Director of Human Resource Committee, Dr. Mubarak Al-Jafur revealed.
He also said that except for nationals who require special permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue employment visas, visas are granted immediately after signing the employment contract. Nationals of Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Yemen, North Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq require special permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs to obtain work visas.
