The price of gasoline and diesel will drop by around 5 cents per liter from Saturday, the Energy Department of the FPS Economy said in a statement on Friday.
The price of gasoline 95 (E10) will thus rise to 1.98 euros per liter while that of gasoline 98 (E5) will still remain well above 2 euros per liter, 2.15 euros more precisely. Prior to this drop, peak gasoline prices had hit an all-time high earlier in the week.
Diesel (B7) is also down. It will take 1.96 euros per liter for this fuel, a drop of 6 cents.
