The Egyptian artist, Samir Sabry, died suddenly at the age of 86 after a struggle with illness, suddenly in a Cairo hotel, on Friday afternoon.
The Egyptian artist was staying inside the hotel after leaving the hospital, in light of receiving treatment and needing a major heart surgery.
“Al-Arabiya.net” contacted the captain of the actors, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, who confirmed that they were heading to the hotel where the late was staying in order to accompany the body and finish the papers and statements, and that so far the date for burial of the body has not been set.
Samir Sabry suffered from a major heart health crisis, and he needed to change one of the valves, but the surgery required special medical arrangements, which was not available, due to the late suffering from the circumstances of another victim.
Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the actors, announced on his Instagram page the death of the great artist, who recently underwent heart surgery.
The late artist was born in Alexandria in 1936, and graduated from Victoria College, where he is considered a comprehensive artist, as he is an Egyptian actor, singer and broadcaster.
He presented a program that listeners demand in English, and he also presented several programs on Egyptian television that enjoyed great popularity.
