Gordon Moore, co-founder of the world’s leading chip company Intel He died peacefully at the age of 94. The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation announced that he died peacefully surrounded by his family in Hawaii on March 24, 2023.
Moore and his longtime colleague Robert Noyce founded Intel in July 1968.
Moore served as Executive Vice President until 1975 and was named Executive Chairman. and CEO in 1979. He served as CEO until 1987. He resigned as CEO but continued as Executive Chairman.
In 1997 he was appointed President Emeritus. and finally stepped down in 2006.
Moore’s reputation is also known through Moore’s Law, or Moore’s Law, that the development of technology multiplies. The number of components in integrated circuits doubled every year from 1958 to 1965 and is expected to continue. “At least ten years.”
