The founding body of the Syndicate of Workers in Governmental Hospitals stated in a statement that, “After the issuance of Decree No. 11648, by giving the Ministry of Health a treasury advance to pay the financial dues of workers in government hospitals in Lebanon, the funds were transferred from the Ministry of Finance to government hospital accounts at the Banque du Liban, with a total value of five hundred.” And seventy-eight billion Lebanese pounds, after the issuance of the recent amendments to salaries, as hospitals are unable to pay them to employees.Therefore, the founding body of the Syndicate of Workers in Governmental Hospitals thanks everyone who sought and contributed to reaching this result in terms of financing, hoping to continue until solutions are found that enable these institutions from financing itself.
