Game news Gran Turismo 7: After Elden Ring, it’s the PS5 racing game’s turn to explode the scores

Just a week ago, Elden Ring came to impose itself as the messiah on Metacritic and OpenCritic with hallucinating scores. On the first, he offers himself a nice 97 out of 100 while on the second, he simply takes first place on the podium. Today, it’s the turn of another license to make a full entry: Gran Turismo with its seventh episode.

Even though this Grand Touring 7 is not as unanimous asElden Ring, the racing game exclusive to Sony machines still capsizes the hearts of the press. Indeed, out of a total census of nearly 80 critics, the new game from Polyphony Digital still displays a score of 88 out of 100 on Metacritic. It therefore has exactly the same note asHorizon : Forbidden West and also ranks fourth in the best games of the year according to the site. In front of him, we can notably find Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster with a nice 89, but also the PC version of God of War with a 93. Of course, Elden Ring sits at the top of the rankings with its 97 out of 100.

Once again, when we look at the various tests, we can see that The Gamer, God is a Geek or even VG247 have opted for the maximum score. The lowest, so far, is given by VGC who chose a measly 60 out of 100.

A wonderful homecoming for the saga?

As announced by Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the series, this brand new opus expected for March 4 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is intended as a return to basics. Indeed, ithe Gran Turismo 7 wants to reconnect with its past by offering players the opportunity to bring together in a single project everything that made the salt of the first four opuses in particular by offering a World Map full of activities, a complete garage comprising more than 400 vehicles and numerous routes, i.e. more than 90.

On our side, we still haven’t delivered our verdict, but we invite you to join us on Thursday at noon to celebrate the game’s release with a Gaming Live and directly.
