CULTURE. Granby Cultural and Community Life (VCC) has unveiled an exceptional cultural program to get you through the month of November. With a variety of events ranging from exhibitions to cultural workshops and shows, Granby residents are invited to immerse themselves in the world of art and creativity.

From November 9 to December 17, the annual Boréart members’ exhibition will open its doors, showcasing more than 50 works by talented artists from the region. The opening of this exhibition will take place on Sunday, November 12 at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and the exhibition hall will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This year, Boréart is highlighting the color fuchsia during its members’ exhibition. Local artists have delved into the world of fuchsia, exploring this vibrant hue to create unique works that will resonate with those of their peers.

In addition, something new awaits visitors: the public’s favorite. Art lovers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist among the participants in the members’ exhibition. Voting will take place via a digital form available on site.

For families, the Cirk’Dans show, scheduled for November 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Notre-Dame center, promises a circus adventure full of humor and excess. Tickets are already on sale for $10 per child and $12 per adult.

Finally, the month will end in style with the traditional Salon des artisans de Granby, which will be held on November 24, 25 and 26 at the Notre-Dame center. More than 40 local artisans will present their creations, offering visitors a wide range of products, from cosmetics to jewelry, decorations and toys. Free entry.
