Dubai: Japan and the UAE have announced an exhibition to strengthen their trade ties. The first edition of the exhibition named Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition will be held in January. The first Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition will be held at the Dubai Trade Center from January 22 to 24.
Organizers said in a press conference that more than 200 Japanese companies will participate. 20,000 visitors are also expected. Hidayuki Kambayashi, director general of the Japan Department of Labor and Tourism, said that companies in the fields of technology, automotive, and food will come to the exhibition.
The program is in collaboration with the governments of UAE and Japan. The exhibition will be led by Japanese trade conglomerate Mico Enterprises. The representatives of the Chamber who attended the press conference also said that the office of the Dubai Chamber will be opened in Japan next month.
