It is a device triggered when hospital pressure is high. The white plan was activated by the Grand Est Regional Health Agency this Thursday, December 14. In a press release, the ARS calls for the coordinated mobilization of all health professionals in Alsace.
Low number of beds available
Several reasons explain the activation of the white plan, in particular the significant number of patients treated for flu, Covid-19 and other respiratory viruses. Another problem: there are not many beds available.
From now on, hospitals are therefore scheduled to reorganize staff schedules or even cancel less urgent operations.
In this context, the Grand Est Regional Health Agency also invites suffering people to consult their GP or a care center without an appointment. In all cases, the population is asked to call 15 before going to the emergency room.
