“Grand Theft Auto 5” (GTA 5) by Rockstar Games has been the best-selling game in the past 10 years across three generations of game consoles since its release in 2013. Developer @Budzcario Digging into the internal code of “Grand Theft Auto V” found that part of the narrative mentioned “NX64” and other narratives related to the Nintendo Switch. In view of the fact that Rockstar Games has recently been actively converting old games such as “Red Dead Redemption” and “Grand Theft Auto: “Trilogy Definitive Edition” and so on were ported to Switch, and it may not be surprising to follow up with “Grand Theft Auto V”. Since the game was first run on the PS3 console, the Switch should also have sufficient performance.
However, “Grand Theft Auto 6”, which is expected to be released in 2025, is currently confirmed to only support PS5 and Xbox Series S/X at launch, and will launch a PC version every other year.
