Beheira – Ahmed Nasra:
A source in Beheira Health revealed the details of the death of 3 people and the injury of 9 of one family, after they were poisoned in the village of Luqana in the Shabrakhit district, in the Beheira governorate.
The source indicated that the cause of death was the inhalation of poisonous carbon monoxide, or what is known as the silent killer, after their relatives initially suspected they had eaten a spoiled meal.
Itai Al-Baroud Hospital had received: Syed Ahmed Issa, 56, a Quran memorizer, his wife Firdous Mohamed Zayed, and his son, Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Issa, 38, a pediatrician at Shabrakhit Central Hospital. The bodies of the deceased were kept at the disposal of the Public Prosecution.
The injured were also transferred to the hospital for ambulance and medical care. They are: Nahla Ahmed Al-Banna, 38, Yasmin Adel Eid, 30, Ahmed Wael Issa, 5, Nada Wael Issa, 8, Omar Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Issa, 8, and Salma Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Issa. 7 years old, Mayar Wael Sayed Ahmed Issa 12 years old, Farida Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Issa 2 years old, and Ahmed Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Issa 4 years old.
A report was drawn up on the incident, and the Public Prosecution office was notified to conduct an investigation to determine the causes of death.
