Grenoble metropolis. Zara leaves the city center for Neyrpic!

The brand has closed the doors of its store located on Avenue Alsace-Lorraine. On the storefront, a poster has been posted announcing that the store is being transferred to the Neyrpic shopping center, which opened this Wednesday in Saint-Martin-d’Hères. Discussions had actually been underway for several months for an establishment on several thousand m2 in Neyrpic.

But the departure of the store could mark a hard blow for the commercial attractiveness of the city center of Grenoble which sees one of its “locomotives” close, after the departure of several other brands in recent months. As we reported this summer, other businesses were also approached to open a pop-up store, in addition to their own, in the Neyrpic shopping center. A situation which worries traders in the capital of the Alps and which should be closely monitored by the Metropolis, responsible for the commercial attractiveness of the territory.

The Spanish brand, already present in Grand’Place, seems to be choosing to favor shopping centers.
