Grupo Salinas will ask for help from international bodies to avoid paying 2,636 million pesos in taxes

Businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego said that the ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) refused to review his case; This is about owing taxes. In a video posted on the Channel 40 Twitter account, Salinas assured that he will not give up.

In fact, through a statement, Grupo Salinas considers that the Second Chamber of the SCJN denied him justice.

“This is due to the fact that the majority of the Ministers of the Second Chamber of the SCJN refused to analyze the merits of our protection, thus openly violating our human right of access to justice and due defense,” the company said.

However, what Grupo Salinas seeks to avoid paying taxes corresponding to fiscal year 2006 for 2,636 million pesos (mp). That amount responds to Income Tax (ISR), according to Aristegui Noticias.

The next step for the company is to seek “the corresponding international instances in order to defend our legitimate right”, and it considered that its “human rights” were violated.
