GTA Online player has been killed 23 times while putting children to bed

In GTA Online not all players are under the age of 14. There are even adults who move around Los Santos and sometimes go AFK briefly to do other things in the real world. A father put his children to bed without telling them a Travor, Michael and Franklin bedtime story. Not a good idea!

Bedtime stories from Reddit: In a GTA subreddit you can find the post from MasterMasticator89who summed up his GTA Online experience with the following words: “A griefer killed me 23 times while I was AFK and putting my kids to bed.”

First question: What is a griefer? A griefer is a player in a multiplayer game who tries to take the fun out of the game for other players without directly violating the rules of the game. So cheating is not meant by it.

GTA Online: “Griefing” does nothing

Said player was AFK for putting his kids to bed. Everything OK. It can happen when you are a father or mother that you have to pause an online game – or “go away for a moment”. The in-game statistics prove that griefing does NOT pay off in GTA Online. “The best is, [dass] his K/D [Kill/Death Balance] hasn’t changed!”

Of course, a discussion ensued GTA subreddit. The mechanics that were recently introduced via the “Criminal Enterprises update” actually work.

By the way, the Griefer ended his streak after MasterMasticator89 came back. “Jokes on you, I’ve been jerking it to you killing me this whole time,” he wrote in general chat, ending the griefing as well.

One comment sums it up best: “Griefer kill to annoy people. Not to fill up their K/D,” so arnadegans.

It is not yet possible to estimate how long we will have to endure in Los Santos. The publisher of GTA Online, Take-Two, is certain: That next GTA will set new “creative standards”.. While it would be out of character for Rockstar Games, they say we’re supposed to have one later this year Trailers for GTA 6 receive.
