Because during an interview with the Italian site Everyeye in Wccftech, Benjamin McCaw, the narrative director of Horizon Forbidden West, talked about the end of the game and some elements related to the development of its story.
Since from the beginning, the creator assured that Horizon Forbidden West It will only have one ending, so no matter what happens during the events that take place in Aloy’s new adventure, the conclusion will be the same.
Added to this, McCaw revealed that this ending will be strong and shocking, but it can be reached with a few different situations that have to do with NPC interaction and certain player decisions. Aloy:
“The time you choose to spend with certain secondary characters could have an effect, albeit minimal, on the progress of the story. Let’s be clear: Horizon Forbidden West will have a single, very strong and impactful ending, but some nuances can change depending on the characters that you’ve given space and attention to. Also, on a couple of occasions, there will be very strong moral choices, which will have extremely powerful consequences.”
