[GUIDE] August 2022 Community Day with Galarian Zigzaton in Pokémon GO

The Galar Zigzaton Community Day will take place this Saturday, August 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (local time). Get ready for the event with this guide.

Community Day Information

• For 3 hours (from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) the appearances of the Pokémon Zigzagoon of Galar are considerably increased in the wild.
• Galarian Zigzatons evolved into Ixon during the event and up to 5 hours after (8 hours in total) will get the charged attack Blocking (Trainer battles: 15 power and guaranteed to increase the user’s defense and lower the opponent’s – Arenas and raids: 20 power). This attack can only be obtained thereafter with an elite Charged Attack CT.
• The Galarian Zigzaton Pokémon will be able to appear in its shiny/chromatic form.
• The spawn rate of the Galar Zigzaton shiny is 1/23.
• A free one-time study is available to all players and can be used to earn Ixon avatar items.
• A paying special study (€0.99) “Study Report: Galarian Zigzaton” is available.
• You can buy a ticket for the special study and offer it to a player with whom you have a friendship level of at least 2 hearts.
• If enough Pokémon are caught by Trainers using a single Lure Module, the x3 Stardust bonus when catching Pokémon near the lured PokéStop will increase to x4 for 30 minutes within 300 yards.

Evolutions

You can evolve Galarian Zigzaton by Lineon of Galar using 25 Zigzaton candies then in Ixon using 100 Zigzaton candies.

In-game preparation

Before the event

• Stock up on Pokeball of course I had and incense .
• If you only play with Pokéball Plus, try to have a large supply of Pokéballs do not hesitate to delete the others to be as much as possible on the basic Pokéballs.
• Sort your Pokemon, make room in your Pokemon stock.
• Add alarms to your phone to better organize yourself during the event.

During the event

• You can use your lucky eggs and your pieces of stars during the event.
• Capture as many Galarian Zigzatons as possible and feel free to use Nanana berries to double the candies obtained at the catch or Silver Nanana berries to double the +1 candies obtained on capture.
• Use the quick capture technique.

With Pokéball Plus and Pokémon GO Plus tools

If you choose to play only with Pokémon GO Plus or Pokéball Plus and the rubber band technique, remember to regularly check your Pokéball stock and that Pokéball Plus continues to work well. If you run out of Pokéball, change the Pokéball Plus settings in-game and choose not to catch Pokemon, only spin Pokéstops.

After filling up on Pokéball, remember to put the option to catch Pokémon back. Be careful, this technique only very rarely allows you to obtain Pokémon with good IVs.

After the event

• Use search filters to find Pokemon 100%, just type “4*” in the search bar. and evolve them as a priority within 5 hours of the end of the event to get the immediate attack Blocking.
• Otherwise you can do the same with the “3*”.
• If you run out of candy, sort it through Galarian Zigzatons and transfer useless Pokémon to get more Zigzaton candies.
