Although less numerous than classic WoW mounts, new ground and flying mounts are available on WotLK Classic. I suggest you discover the mounts available in Northrend and the method to acquire them.

1. Dungeons and Raids Mounts

Drake Azur

• Drop on Malygos in the Eye of Eternity raid mode Heroic

Drake bleu

• Drop on Malygos in the Eye of Eternity raid mode Normal

Drake Bronze

• Drope on the Infinite Corruptor in Heroic Stratholme Purging
• This is not a regular mount drop, it is tied to a timed event. The Infinite Corruptor will spawn a timer once you begin clearing the instance, and will give you 25 minutes after the timer begins. Just complete the instance before the timer expires, and you get your mount. Note that the Infinite Corruptor is located before the final dungeon boss, not after. Go left before this one to reach it.

Invincible

• Drope on the Lich King at Icecrown Citadel in 25-player mode

Twilight Drake

• Drope on Sartharion at Obsidian Sanctum in 25 player mode
• To get the mount, kill the boss with all three drakes still alive

black drake

• Drope on Sartharion at Obsidian Sanctum in 10 player mode
• To get the mount, kill the boss with all three drakes still alive

Great Black War Mammoth

• Vault of Archavon
• Drope on Archavon, Koralon, Toravon, and Emalon.
• There is a version Alliance (see screenshot below) and a version Horde with red.

Head of Mimiron

• Drope on Yogg-Saron in Ulduar

Drake Onyxien

• Drope on Onyxia at Onyxia’s Lair

Crimson Deathcharger

• Requires completion of the Gather the Mograine quest at Icecrown Citadel.
• If you kill the Lich King with a player wearing Shadowmourn, in the raid you will get an additional item – an unsealed chest. After bringing the chest to Darion, he will open it and allow you to return the items to their respective owners. You will be rewarded with the Crimson Deathsteed mount.
