[월간수소경제 성은숙 기자] The Hydrogen Convergence Alliance (H2KOREA) is focusing on strengthening the clean hydrogen certification industry ecosystem.
H2KOREA announced on the 6th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Accreditation Support Center (KAB) on a ‘business agreement for creating a clean hydrogen certification industry ecosystem and sustainable win-win cooperation’.
In order to create a clean hydrogen certification industry ecosystem and establish a sustainable win-win cooperation system, the two organizations plan to △ lay the foundation for a national clean hydrogen certification system △ exchange latest trends and information △ promote sustainable development of the clean hydrogen certification industry.
H2KOREA Chairman Moon Jae-do said, “The government also plans to open an era of hydrogen power generation by finalizing the clean hydrogen certification system by the end of this year and opening a clean hydrogen power generation bidding market next year. I think this will also contribute to domestic carbon neutrality and energy security.” “The Hydrogen Convergence Alliance will strengthen the private sector cooperation system with the Korea Accreditation Support Center.”
Meanwhile, H2KOREA signed a ‘business agreement for establishment of clean hydrogen certification infrastructure and sustainable win-win cooperation’ with the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KCL) and the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTC) last November.
